Skatepark Database: The Skatepark Database is comprised of freely available information provided by many sources and is intended for personal use. It is therefore our policy that the information provided can be used for free, but is solely limited to personal use. No content can be republished in any form as to do so would be breaking the law.

 

Images may be the property of third parties who have granted skate.co.uk permission to use them. It is the responsibility of anyone who sends images to skate.co.uk to insure that they hold the copyright to such images. By sending images to skate.co.uk the user accepts that the images will be used in anyway that skate.co.uk wishes.

 

Directory of Skatepark Builders: All of the information in the directory of skatepark builders was provided solely by the respective company and is subject to copyright and trademark laws. The information can be used freely by anyone, however it is strictly prohibited to copy any content without the permission of the respective company.

 

 

PRIVACY POLICY

 

Skate will only have access to the personal details provided by the respective party. These details will be non-financial and generally contact details or answers to surveys.

 

We will never seek nor store personal financial information including bank account and credit/debit card details. Any non-financial personal details saved will not be given to third parties unless permission has been granted for the sharing of such information, we are required to do so by law, we believe the details are being used fraudulently or the details are being used for spamming purposes.

 

We will contact users of Skate only in reply to their queries, following-up orders and to subscribed newsletters. You can close your account and unsubscribe from subscriptions at any time.

 

Answers to surveys are anonymous unless specified and will only be shared with third parties given the respondents' permission.

 

 

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

 

We are very concerned about the environment and have therefore taken measures to reduce any negative environmental impact.

 

Our websites are hosted on green servers with 1and1, which means that our servers are powered by 100% renewable energy and as efficiently as possible.

 

Where possible our waste is kept to a minimum and is recycled.

 

We optimise our orders so that we make the most of the space in boxes sent from distributors.

 

We will strive to find more ways to become efficient and environmentally friendly.

 

 

POSTAGE POLICY

 

Goods purchased will be sent within 3 days of receiving full and cleared payment. All goods purchased through Skate.co.uk are insured and will require a signature on delivery. Goods purchased through our eBay Shop, The Skateboard Shop, will be send via Royal Mail and will only be insured if insurance is purchased at an additional cost.

 

We hold no responsibility for Royal Mail delivery times, but would like to outline the following:

 

First Class: 1-2 working days.

Second Class: 2-3 working days.

Special Delivery: Next working day.

 

Airmail Europe: 5-10 Working days.

Airmail (Rest of World): up to 21 days.

 

The above times are approximate and apply when the goods are sent, not when payment is received.

 

 

RETURNS POLICY

 

If your order is received damaged or faulty then you must contact us within 7 working days for instructions. You will then have 5 working days from receiving instructions, or 10 working days from receipt (whichever greater) to return the order. Where possible you will receive a replacement, or a full refund including all postage costs incurred.

 

If your order is received and you decide that you no longer want it then you must contact us within 7 working days for instructions. Your order may then be returned within 5 working days from receiving instructions for a refund, less a 10% restocking charge. Your order must be in an unused condition in order to receive a refund. You are responsible for sending the order back to us and we recommend sending it with insurance as we will not send a refund if it is lost or received damaged.

 

Due to the nature of skateboarding equipment, once your purchase has been used then we will no longer offer refunds or replacements and accept no responsibility for damage.

 

 

DISCLAIMER

 

We reserve the right to modify our policies at any time.

 

Although we try to censor content published by our users, we hold no responsibility for their opinions or content that they publish. We will try to filter any content that may be seen as offensive or breaking copyright laws and we have a zero-tolernce attitude when dealing with offenders. When such issues are brought to our attention we will remove the privileges of users responsible and remove the respective content.

 

Since much of the information in the Skatepark Database is supplied by users we cannot guarantee its accuracy. If you feel that the information is incorrect then we request that you let us know so that we can modify it.

 

The companies on the Skatepark Builders Directory are separate to skate.co.uk and have no affiliation other than being listed on this site. We are not responsible for the information displayed and have no responsibility for their services. We advise that you visit their individual web sites before contacting them. All photos and logos used were provided by the respective company and should not be copied without their prior consent.
